What is medically managed weight loss and what should I expect?
At your first visit, you will meet with a medical provider and review your health history, your weight loss journey thus far, as well as your health goals. From there, we will decide on a weight loss plan that is right for you! This may include changes to your diet, exercise routine, and medication (Semaglutide) to help jump start your weightloss.

What is a Semaglutide?
Semaglutide is a peptide that works by mimicking a hormone called glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1). It was originally developed for patients with Type 2 Diabetes but can offer weight loss results to anyone. If you are struggling with weight loss this may be the right treatment for you!
How does it work?
Weekly Injection That:
Targets an area of the brain that suppresses appetite, delays gastric emptying making you feel fuller longer, improves insulin resistance, and allows more calories and fat to be burned.
What are the side effects?
Overall, Semaglutide is well-tolerated but can sometimes cause: nausea, fatigue, constipation, diarrhea, bloating or belching.
