MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY
Dr. Nguyen performs cutting-edge minimally invasive surgery for most surgical procedures. Minimally invasive techniques during surgery allow smaller incisions, less scarring, and pain, as well as a faster recovery.
BARIATRIC SURGERY
During your consultation, Dr. Nguyen will discuss the best options for you to achieve your weight loss goals and review the various procedures that are available to you to fit your particular needs. These procedures include the sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, revision surgery, or the Obalon System.
ROBOTIC LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY
Dr. Richard Nguyen is one of the few Surgeons specially trained and certified to use the da Vinci robotic surgical system at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Nguyen is able to perform Single Incision Laparoscopy using the da Vinci robot for cases such as gallbladder removal, appendectomy, colectomy and many other procedures that will benefit the patient with faster recovery, less pain, and very minimal scarring.
